woah! it's been over a week since i blogged last..i am in my sunny hometown of miami so it's been a pretty hectic schedule with little time to do any blogging and vintage posting..i will be doing some blogging though while in miami..it's just a bit tough with a schedule full of visiting family, freinds, best freinds wedding, running around miami and vintage buying..but i did want to get in as much as i can while on vacation / more time dedicated to bella vintage since i am vacationing from my full time day job..
i'm currently sitting in a little cafe in beautiful Coral Gables drinking a cappuccino while catching up on my blog reading and bopping my head to some tunes..
i look so tired, i truly have no idea what day it is and my times are all off..i'm on L.A. time still..well off i go hope you all are having a good LAST week of the year..i hope to capture some good pics today around miami so i can blog tomorrow..

THE CLAW MACHINE!
this weekend is going to be a day full of non stop things to do..my weekend activities go a little something like this:
1. clean house
2. organize and pay bills for the two weeks out
3. pack a suit case for two
4. taking Zoe for her last minute Christmas shopping
5. trying to find a silver maid of honor dress
6. organize vintage clothes
7. laundry
8. upload vintage for Ebay launch for Christmas Eve
9. blog
10. make Christmas craft
11. finish necklaces and feather headbands for freinds & store
12. go to the library to check out Twilight (yeah we are hooked)
and i'm sure a million more tiny things to do before our two week trip to Miami..which we are leaving Christmas day..i hope it's a smooth process, a friend told me it's not too bad on Christmas day since most people leave on Christmas eve..lets see..
i will be doing my best to keep on blogging before i leave and will DEFINITELY be doing allot of blogging when i'm in Miami..i already have most of post set up for things like best thrift / vintage stores..Miami art deco and history, places to shop, eats & things to do, Cuban culture, art's district and so many other things to show...Miami is my home town and i am very fond of the things i tend not to have appreciated when i lived there..
i can't wait to show you what a great city it is..my hearts already there...and of course the main reason for me being there is my best freinds wedding, it's a happy and sad occasion for me...happy that she has found her companion for life and sad because it seems like an end of an era of both of us single gals going thru life's ups and downs together..i guess it's the selfish part of me that does not want to share or let go...but nah i know that it's a coming of passage in her life...i love you Viv!
okay one of the several things i love about L.A. is it's melting pot of cultures..so me and Zo decided we wanted to have ramen beef noodle soup in Arcadia (a mostly Asian city) we ran into these cute claw machine's....it's probably the first claw machine i would not mind losing a $1 in because of the cute Japanese cuties inside...
everything about them i love..the colors on the machine and how they blend together with what's inside..so so cute
now i'm off to the madness..

OUTFIT POST: COMING INTO HER OWN
this week i am skipping my usual week in pictures post..it was a pretty hectic weekend and had no chance to take any pictures..i did enjoy this weekend although rainy..i spent most of my Saturday organizing and catching up on paper work..tying up all loose ends before i head out to my much anticipated trip to Miami next week..
i headed out to some shopping in the fashion district in downtown l.a on sunday...as dirty and crazy as it is you have to appreciate all the things you can find their..pretty much any fabric, trim, supplies..everything..
i bought some jewelry supplies, chains, lobster claws etc..it was hard choosing they had all types of chains imaginable in all sizes and all colors..i will be making some jewelry to post on Etsy of vintage skeleton keys..i came across a bulk of old keys while on one of my many estate hunts..skeleton keys are fascinating to me..they are so many different designs with all types of details on them..and i always wonder which door the keys use to open and who owned them..they fascinate me in that way..
i can't wait to have them up in the store soon..i almost forgot how much i use to love making jewelry..i took two years of jewelry and metal smith classes..it was so much fun, i truly do love working with my hands..
okay now back to the wardrobe post..this week i am featuring my little shadow..although she is now taller then me..i am nodding my head in awe of how fast the years past..Zoe (my daughter) is in her pre-teens and is now taking interest in her style..one thing i have to say that i love about her is that she is in no hurry to grow UP..she has truly enjoyed being a kid and is growing gracefully into her teens..
she prefers her jeans and tee's any day before skirts and dress's..she loves the comfort and the look..and i would have to say her eye is geared towards a eclectic mix of surf, skater and prep look..we'll have to see if she'll throw some vintage in there (i hope so) but i thought she looked quite cute this weekend in her own mix..

have a good start of the week! i know i was dragging today...
