MY HOW THEY GROW.....

Wow summer is coming to an end and another year of school is on a roll. Zoe is entering her 7th grade year and i am in a bit of shock, amazement, awe, i don't even know what word to express my feelings but i have one more year till high school and then four till college. crazy it feels like yesterday that i had my 3 year old talking to me with the cute little lisp, crying to make her boo boo better and singing to make her go to sleep. wow..wow.



well there she goes, i'm proud of her she has such a sweet spirit and i enjoy all the days i'm with her and long the days when i'm not. as tradition goes we take photos of the first day of school in her new uniform. although like any teenager she does not like the constriction of wearing a uniform, but at least in her school you can wear any color polo or twill pants so she has a bit of room to bring her style into the uniform mix. i told her she looks like she should be in a catalog selling the clothes!

i also wanted to share for any parent living in the Pasadena, California area the school Zoe goes to is amazing! small class sizes, high education, big believers that kids learn allot also outside of the classroom, so every other Friday they go out into the community to work/learn; and a no homework policy where they extend the school day so they can finish it there so you can have a relaxing family time when they get home! one last thing for any parent out there with small kids, love on them and take time to spend with them because time truly does fly!
