A DAY IN THE FOOTHILLS

Happy Monday all! last week me and the Zomiester went strolling in the mountain foothills of our town, we live in front of the San Gabriel mountains which has great trails for hiking up into the mountain. back in the day, 1800's to be exact, there was a resort where folks in L.A. would retreat too called The Sierra Madre Villa Hotel along with the restaurant pictured, which has now since become a closed down museum. The hotel is no longer there and was replaced with a golf course but it was nice to finally go exploring and peek into this cabin restaurant. hmm i wonder if there is some wonderful vintage clothes finds in there? it's literally just a few blocks away from where we live and Zoe was able to capture some really pretty pictures.


















Zoe has become quite the photographer! i love the one she took of the heart shaped bench and the one with my back to the camera.
